Education and Learning In The 21st Century
Education has been one of the most important parts of people's life and development throughout the ages. For centuries, people have tried to improve education and learning, and they have used technology as the most important material for this. Books, pens, whiteboards, etc., are all examples of the use of technology to improve education and training. Especially in the 21st century, technology has become one of the cornerstones of education, with the development of technology at a magnificent degree and speed. But can teachers keep up with this change as much as students?
In education and learning, the use
of digital technological devices rather than analog technology has not escaped
anyone's notice. Projectors, smart boards, internet, videos, live links and
even online books have become the most important devices used in education.
However, this situation brought with it a very important problem. The gap
between the generation of students who grew up with these technologies and the
generation of teachers who grew up with more analog devices has created a big
problem in 21st century education and training. Although some teachers refused
technology and continued traditional education at first, the use and need of
technology became an incredible need with the covid-19 epidemic. That's why I
opened this blog and I will share articles on how to integrate technology and
education together with my own experience and the help of experts. I hope that
as a prospective teacher myself, as well as all teachers and students, we can
use our ideas for more effective education and learning.
